Coach Doug began lifting weights when he was 12 and his love for weights continued to his journey of co-owning a gym at age 27. He is a Barbell Strength Certified Coach and Weightlifting Performance Coach by NASPA. With a barbell compound movement focus for his training followed by accessory work, Coach Doug trains a wide variety of ages, goal types, and athletes. He is extremely detailed and has spent many years learning the ins and outs of barbell & functional training to better support all facets of life. Some of Coach Doug’s favorite training movements include: squats, deadlifts, overhead press, bench press, etc. He is a great coach for someone who is new to weightlifting or highly experienced. Amongst traveling to new places, playing music and being involved in summer sports, Coach Doug is wildly passionate about helping his clients reach new mental and physical strengths.
